There is concern in Roscommon town this week following news that a recent development meeting has rezoned as agriculture 252 hectares in the town.
The County Council say 779 residential units have been granted planning in the town and are yet to be developed which is adequate for future needs.
However, a local auctioneer has said that some of these units may never be developed and there is in fact a shortage of supply of houses in Roscommon town.
