Good news for the construction sector in Roscommon with a report this morning that shows planning applications are up 27% in the first two months of the year.
The figures for January and February are comparative to the same two months in 2014.
The data is contained in the National Housing Construction Index.
On the negative side, the commencement of new house builds has fallen by 78%
