New cycling jersey launched

Local cycling club Curlieu Wheelers launched their new jersey and club gear on Thursday night in Daly’s on Bridge Street (one of the club sponsors).

Club Chairman Declan Noone thanked all for their attendance with a special word of thanks and appreciation to the clubs sponsors – Abbey Tree Services (Main Sponsor), Daly’s Drinks, Trailcycling.ie, Spool Factory, Roscommon Herald, Lavin Landscaping and Boyletoday.com.

Donations from the 2017 Lough Key Classic were made to a number of organisations namely:

  • Brothers of Charity
  • Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS)
  • Multiple Sclerosis Ireland
  • Boyle Scouts
  • National Rehabilitation Centre

A special presentation was made to Valerie Casey and Helen Nerney for coordinating and organising the catering at the Lough Key Classics over the years.

Finally, a new club jersey was presented by Chairman Declan Noone to Veronica O’Connor representing Abbey Tree Services in appreciation of the companies continued support as the club’s main sponsor.
