Congratulations to Abbey College Boys Junior Team who were crowned Connacht Champions on Tuesday.
The Boyle boys overcame Scoile Mhuire Strokestown in a close contest to emerge victors on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-10.
Top scorer on the day was Dara Cregg with an outstanding 1-9.
The team had beaten Our Lady’s College Belmullet to reach the all Roscommon final.
The team and mentors enjoyed a celebratory meal in The Stairs Gastro Pub on arrival back in their hometown on Tuesday evening.
