Congratulations to Abbey Community College Rugby team who have made it to a Connacht Final on Wednesday next.
They beat Gortnor Abbey in the Top Oil Connacht Schools Junior Emerging Cup semi final on Wednesday on a scoreline 21 – 17 at Ballina RFC.
In the final, which will be played in Galway’s Sportsgrounds, they will face tough competition from St. Joseph’s from Foxford.
Kick off is at 2pm.
It is a great achievement for the Boyle school to reach the Connacht Final having only taken up the game in recent months.
A bus is scheduled to bring student supporters to the game.
