An Bord Pleanala has given their decision on whither the installation of distillery equipment and the change of use from the production of grain and maize products to a whiskey distillery on site at existing mill building at Stewart’s Mill, Mocmoyne, Boyle is or is not development or is or is not exempted development.
The Mill is a protected structure.
The question was referred to An Bord Pleanala by Roscommon County Council on 31st May 2016.
At their meeting on February 7th, the Bord decided that the said installation and change of use is development and is not exempted development.
The decision was signed on 24th February 2017.
