Boyle Celtic made it two wins out of two when they beat Shiven Rovers 6 – 1 at Boyle. Mick Corrigan broke the deadlock after six minutes and an own goal made it 2 – 0 shortly afterwards. Aaron Calpin and Mick Corrigan made it 4 – 0 before the visitors pulled a goal back through Shane Delaney. Shane Battles added another before the break and Niall O’Donoghue completed the scoring after the break.
