BOYLE FARMERS MARKET
The last Farmers Market of 2015 will take place on Wednesday 23rd December, just in time for Christmas! The market will resume as usual on January 2nd from 10am to 2pm. We wish to thank all of our wonderful loyal customers and stallholders who have supported the market in 2015.

GAA QUIZ NIGHT
The Boyle GAA Quiz and Awards night will take place on Sunday 27th December, in St Joseph’s Hall at 7:30pm. We are delighted to announce that this year we have teamed up with two Boyle businesses, Magee’s Fashion Shop and Aidan Ray’s Menswear. The top team on the night will receive a mixture of ‘his and hers’ vouchers to a total value of €200. Along with a highly enjoyable quiz, the event is the ideal opportunity to meet up with everyone coming home to Boyle.

CURLEW WALKERS CLUB
The next meeting of the club will take place on Sunday 27th December meeting on the Crescent, Boyle at 1pm. The walk will take place at Erronagh Bog and is a Flat grade 2, with our leader being Denise O’Dowd 086 234 2999. Please confirm times with leader or website prior to each walk www.walkingboyle.com

TREASURE HUNT
The Annual Stephen’s Day Treasure Hunt in aid of Hospice will take in place in Lough Key Forest & Activity Park at 2.30pm on St Stephen’s Day. Answer sheets can be handed in afterwards at Clarke’s Bar & Restaurant, Patrick’s Street, Boyle where there will be a Fun Auction of a few selected items, which should be popular with sports fans!

CHARITY GIG
Ardcarne Garden Centre Cafe will be presenting a Charity Gig on Sunday 27th December from 2pm until 4pm. There will be a short presentation from Sue Paling (director of Sai Donkey Sanctuary). The Honey Bees nostalgia 30’s 40’s Tin Pan Alley Jazz. A Soprano by Emily Murphy, Cathal Roche on Saxophone and Derek Dooley from the The Deadly Duo. All in aid of the Sai Donkey Sanctuary. Free Entry.

CHARITY FUN RUN
Majella Frizzell (nee McCrann) from St Patrick Street, Boyle is organising a 5k Fun Run/Walk for Sunday 27th December starting at 2pm in Lough Key Forest Park in aid of Children with Autism. Rapid Prompting Ireland Ltd is a charity supporting Education and Communication to those living with Autism. For further information contact Majella on 086 812 3594.

COMMUNITY STALL AVAILABLE
Boyle Farmers Market has a “Community Stall” available in our new all-weather Farmers Market. The idea is to have a different community group attend each week to promote, showcase your wares, raise awareness of your organisation or group etc. This is for community only. We would love to hear from any groups interested in getting involved… please contact us here or email Janice on [email protected] for more details. The stall will be free and you will be a guest of the market for that day. We would love to hear from groups such as the ICA, the Scouts, Tidy Towns and so on. Please share with anyone you know that might be interested.

BINGO IN BOYLE
Every Tuesday evening in St. Josephs Hall Boyle at 8.30pm until 10.30pm. €1000 Jackpot to be won every week.
