Boyle GAA club news

The following were winners at Saturday night’s Club Lotto draw which was held in Wynnes–€20 each–Mary Reid (Keash) and Seamus Cooney, and house prize Sean McKeon. The jackpot wasn’t won and it will be at a new record high of €10,700 for this Saturday night’s draw which will be held in Dodds. Team B will be in charge. Those wishing to buy tickets should be on the look out for the new Club Lotto boxes which are now available in most outlets in Boyle. Tickets can be purchased in those outlets and the marked envelope can be placed in the box. Those wishing to become annual subscribers to the Club Lotto may sign up for an annual subscription of €120, or a direct debit for €10 per month can be set up by contacting Club Treasurer at 086 8526329.

Those who have been issued with tickets for the GAA National Draw are asked to return ticket counterfoils and remittances to the Treasurer immediately.

Thanks to the large numbers who attended the Underage Information Evening on Tuesday last. Defibrillator–basic life support training will be held in the Clubroom on Saturday week 30th January from 10.30am to 2pm. This will be a great opportunity to renew previous AED training or to acquire life saving skills for the first time. We encourage as many as possible to attend. As places are limited, please contact Jan Flanagan at 086 0667163 to confirm booking.

Ladies Football: Ladies AGM will take place in the clubhouse on Sunday Jan 24th at 5pm. All players, parents and everyone interested in the development of ladies football in Boyle is invited to attend. We are always actively looking for new people to get involved with the club, both to help with coaching and on the committee to bring new ideas and energy.
