Boyle GAA club weekly update

The Club extends deepest sympathies to the Emmett family on the untimely passing of Ultan. May he Rest In Peace.

Boyle GAA monthly meeting will be held on Thursday next 7th Feb at 8.30pm. Hope you can attend.

For the underage, There will be another opportunity to register for 2019 between 7-8pm on Thursday prior to club meeting. Any boy born before 1st January 2013 is eligible.

The Main Event this week in the club is the official launch of our huge event fundraiser I’m A Celeb. The launch will be at 9.00pm in the Moylurg, this coming Friday, 8th February. On the night we will reveal our 24 ‘brave’ contestants and this will be followed by live music. This promises to be an enjoyable night so come along as we begin the countdown to the big night in March! Please come along and show your support for this exciting fundraising event.

Boyle Ladies GAA registration will take place in the GAA Clubhouse on Wednesday 6th February from 7pm -8pm. This registration is for all girls from U8 to minor excl the Nursery programme, registration for which will be later in the year.

At the AGM the following officers were elected for 2019: Chairperson: Noel Scally; Secretary: Bernie Mullins; Treasurer: Cathy Garavan; Registrar: Shauna Moran: Children’s Officer: Mary Scally; PRO: Devin Finneran.
2018 was a very successful year for the club at all age levels. The season culminated in November with both the U16s and the Minors winning county championships. A super achievement for the teams and management. Thanks to the sponsors, coaches, players, parents and all who supported the teams throughout the year. Thanks to Boyletoday.com, Realboyle and The Roscommon Herald for promoting our club.
Looking forward to continued success in 2019 and delighted to welcome new members to the committee.

Finally, well done to the Roscommon team on a great win in Hyde Park. and a special congratulations to the Boyle players. Enda, Evan and Donie.
