Boyle GAA weekly news update

Marie and Fergal O’Donnell, Cian McKeon and Andy McGill were €20 winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw in Clarkes Bar. The jackpot wasn’t won. It will be at €1,700 for the next draw on Saturday October 28th which will be held in Clarke’s Bar. Special thanks to Andy McGill who returned his prize.

The Cooney Motors/centra sponsored Juniors were scheduled to play Kilmore but was called off due to an unplayable pitch.

The U-20 team start their campaign this Sunday Oct 29th, when they  host Castlerea, St. Kevin’s in the Abbey Park at 12 noon. Best of luck to all involved.

A total of €2,110 was collected from the recent bake sale held in Boyle GAA clubhouse for Niamh’s Journey There, a huge thank you to all the people that supported us so generously, to all the fantastic bakers and all the people who helped out on the day, wishing Niamh all the best from Boyle GAA.

Sympathies of the club to Liam Kerins on the passing of his brother.

Well done to the Corrib Oil sponsored Minors on their win over St. Croan’s. They are now through to the semi final. Details TBC.
