Last Sundays 18 Hole Stroke results were 1st Michael Simon (62), 2nd Tom Kearney (65), Gross Brendan Gaffney, 3rd Michael Reid (65).Thursday nights Mens Competition was won by Jim Suffin 32pts, 2nd Michael Reid 26pts, 3rd John McGuinn 24pts. Fridays Scramble was won by Jonathan Egan, Michael Rush & Peter Leydon, 2nd Adrian King, Moira Egan & Cillian Doyle, 3rd Padraig O’Connell, Danny Tiernan & Sean McLoughlin. Members are encouraged to take part in the Scramble as numbers are low the last few weeks.
Competitions for this week are the Mens Competition on Thursday night and the Scramble of Friday night. Next weekend is the Fore Club Alliance which can be played Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Format will be 18 hole stableford. Timesheet on noticeboard.
All King Harmon second round matches are to be completed by June 7th.
In Interclub news commiserations to our Seniors who lost to Enniscrone last Tuesday and our Pierce Purcell Team who lost to Tubbercurry on Saturday. Good luck to our Ladies Challenge Cup team who play Strokestown tomorrow, to our Jimmy Bruen Team who also play tomorrow against Rosses Point and to our Mixed Foursomes who play Ballymote on Wednesday.
Well done to Sean Heslin and Sean McLoughlin who are through to the Foursomes final after beating Jim Mooney and Pat Conroy in the semi-final. The second semi-final between Brendan Gaffney and Tommy King and Willie Tiernan and Michael Rush takes place on this Tuesday evening.
The Club is calling on all volunteers on this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to help get the course ready for the June Weekend. If you can help just turn up. If you have clippers, rakes etc bring them along. All help is appreciated.
