Well done to John McGuinn who won last Sunday’s 18 hole Golfer of the Year with 40pts, 2nd Padraig O’Connell 37pts, Gross Charlie O’Donnell, 3rd Paddy McLoughlin 37pts. John McGuinn leads the golfer of the year table after round one

Competitions for this week are the open nine hole which can be played Monday to Saturday inclusive. Next weekend is the Crumlin Classic which can be played Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Entry is €15 per person €5 re-entry.  Format is a three ball rumble. All support appreciated for this worthy cause,

The Thursday night Mens competition re-commences on Thursday April 11th. Friday evening Scrambles commence on Friday April 19th. Details of the Mens foursomes draw are on the noticeboard.

Thanks to all who took part in the club outing to Mount Temple last Saturday and to Captains Michael and Sandra for organising and sponsoring prizes. Thanks also to all at Mount Temple for their hospitality. The overall winner was Jonathan Egan, Mens winner was Terry Canning, 2nd Gary Carty. Ladies winner Peggy Feely, 2nd Ruth Hogg. First nine Dave Purser, second nine Patrick Egan. Special well done to Jonathan Egan who had an eagle on the 13th.

Maintainance work to bunkers and pathways is delayed due to poor weather. Pole forking to greens is scheduled to begin the week after Easter.

The Ladies, Mens and Management meetings take place this Wednesday evening in the Clubhouse
