Approx 20 members and friends of Boyle Celtic left ‘Celtic Park at 8am Saturday morning for the annual cycle to and climb of Croagh Patrick.
The weather was cold but dry as the riders left for their 101k cycle.
They were joined by members of the Curlieu Wheelers cycling club who accompanied them to the food stop in Swinford.
The participants will soak up the atmosphere of the All Ireland semi final in County Mayo later this evening when they descend the mountain before travelling back to Boyle for an early night.
