Boyle Tidy Town committee would like to thank the transition year students from Abbey Community College for their trojan work in cleaning up the Pleasure Grounds.
Their community spirit is to be commended and we know they have more community projects in the pipeline.
The weekly clean ups have been very successful but Tuesday nights clean up of the Crescent and surrounds highlighted a major problem with cigarette butts. We would ask everyone to take responsibility for outside their premises and sweep up the butts weekly, your help is greatly appreciated.
A reminder to all walkers about our campaign to pick up 3 pieces of litter every walk.
Next Tuesday 21st we will target the car park beside the Post Office and Carrick road area. Meeting in the car park at 7 pm
