Boyle could benefit under HSE plan

The new Primary Care Centre currently being built in Boyle (pictured) could house smaller centres from Ballaghaderreen, Elphin and Strokestown.

That’s according to new HSE documents reveal to Shannonside FM that show some health centres in Roscommon could be set to close this year.

The services offered in these facilities are likely to be moved into primary care centres, such as the one under construction in Boyle.

A 17,000-square-foot primary care centre is set to open in Boyle in September, and it will offer GP, dental and other services.

According to new HSE documents, health centres in the general vicinity of Boyle could be closed and moved into it.
