Over 100 people gathered on the Crescent on a sunny Saturday afternoon to protest at water charges.
Organised by the Boyle Right2Water group, protestors burned their water bills and associated Irish Water material at the event.
Many speakers took the open mike to outline their opposition to the water charges.
Following the burning ceremony and speeches, attendees retired to St. Joseph’s Hall for a barbeque and light refreshments
