The Castlerea Agricultural Show takes place annually on the Monday of the August Bank Holiday Weekend and is a celebration of the richness of rural Ireland’s traditions, it’s people and their way of life.
The Show includes cattle classes (with the largest ever prize fund of €10,000!), 22 dog classes, craft and gardening classes, cookery classes. sheep classes, pets corner, trade and craft stands, horse classes, pony classes, best dressed competitions, guess the weight competition, vintage section, bonny baby, the monster raffle and of course oodles of entertainment with the one and only Seamus Moore.
Gates open at 8am with the Show commencing at 11am
