The current Superintendent for the Castlerea Garda District Seamus Boyle is to transfer to his native Granard.
Superintendent Boyle has been in Castlerea since August 2016.
He is due to take up his new position on March 25th this year.
There has been no indication as to who will replace Superintendent Boyle in the Castlerea District which covers a wide geographical area of the county.
