Coast to Coast meeting tonight

Fifteen Boyle cyclists took part in two events yesterday Sunday.

Eight of the riders cycled from Boyle to Roscommon, undertook the 60k event and cycled home for a total distance of 146k.

Seven others travelled to Glenamaddy for the annual Ability West 80k.

Also over the weekend, club members Gavin Brennan and Aaron O’Connor took part in their first track cycle on the Olympic Velodrome in Lee Park, London.

By all reports, they had a great time.

Also, in what was a busy weekend for Curlieu Wheelers members, club member Mary Flynn was the 3rd lady home in the Kingsland 10k on Sunday.

Tonight attentions turn to the Coast to Coast challenge with a meeting of those who have signed up taking place in Patrick’s Well at 9.30pm.

The weekly spins continue this week at 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday from the Crescent.
