Tonight Friday September 22nd is Culture Night and a number of events are planned around Boyle.
They include but are not limited to the following:
Boyle Branch Library
6.15pm – Storyteller Chris Thompson will present the awards for the national Summer Stars Reading Challenge
6.30pm – Puppet based storytelling for 7-10 year olds
Lough Key Forest Park
4pm to 6pm -INSIDE(CRAFT) will stage a pop up retail event.
Oakport Haven Cootehall
6.30pm – Arts and Crafts with ‘Hullbaloo’ for children 5+. Performance by a choir and selected poetry readings
King House
5pm – 8pm- Free entry for Culture Night with last tour at 7pm (cartoons shown all day in Auditorium)
Roscommon Arts Centre
6pm – Boyle artist Naomi Draper will discuss her latest exhibition “Florilegium”
