The 42nd Annual Elphin Agricultural Show will take place on Saturday August 31st 2019.
On the day there will be classes for Cattle, Sheep, Cookery, Farm & Garden Produce, Horses, Ponies, Pets and Poultry, Handcrafts and Photography plus Trade Stands, Novelty Events and much more.
There will be €40,000 in prizes including:
- All-Ireland Pedigree Charolais Baby Calf: €1,500
- All-Ireland Commercial Breeding Heifer(un-haltered): €1,500
- All-Ireland Pony Mare and Foal Championship: €500
- All-Ireland Treacle Bread
- All-Ireland Jam
- All-Ireland Puppies: €105
- All-Ireland Jack Russell: €105
- All-Ireland Baby Beef Heifer: €2,500
- Midland & Western Charolais Calf Final: €1,500
- Limousin Anglo Irish Youth Finals
- Elphin Show Mare and Foal Championship €500
- All-Ireland Muffins: €100
- All Ireland Duck or Drake: €225
