Boyle town will find out on Wednesday night if they have been successful in the Bank of Ireland sponsored Enterprise Town Awards.
The awards ceremony will take place that evening at 7.30pm in the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon.
Along with the county award, the national winner will also be announced at the event.
Three independent judges visited Boyle last week to see how enterprising the town is.
An initial welcome reception in King House was followed by an 80 minute tour of the town and a 30 minute concluding session in the Enterprise Centre.
Boyle speakers at the initial reception included Martin Dolan, Margaret Mulligan, Patricia Golden, Brian Nerney and Shane Healy.
Music was supplied by the Comortas Beo runners up from Abbey Community College.
Chairman of Boyle Town Team Brian Nerney said the Team were delighted with the day and their preparation for the judges adding that “we showed the judges all we currently have and all we plan to have in Boyle”.
“We were well prepared and mentioned everything that needed to be mentioned – fingers crossed now that we will be rewarded for all our efforts” Brian concluded.
