Roscommon South Leitrim Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan has welcomed €1.14m funding for the Plunkett Community Nursing Unit in Boyle.
Deputy Feighan is also welcoming €9m in funding to upgrade the Sacred Heart Hospital in Roscommon.
“After a long fought campaign, I am delighted that the money has been finally secured to upgrade the facilities at Sacred Heart Hospital in Roscommon and Plunkett Community Nursing Unit in Boyle .
“I am also very pleased that funding has been allocated to Aras Mathair Pol in Castlerea, which will receive €850,000 and St Patrick’s in Carrick-on-Shannon which will receive €300,000.”
“This funding will now help to bring all three facilities in line with HIQA standards.” concluded Deputy Feighan
