A fire in the Roma Grill Take Away on the Crescent in Boyle was brought under control around 12.30pm today.
A unit of Boyle Fire Brigade attended and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building.
There were no reported injuries.
Gardaí directed traffic during the incident on this busy stretch of road.
