Former Convent goes ‘Sale Agreed’

The former Convent of Mercy in Boyle has gone “Sale Agreed”.

The details of the purchaser or a future use for the building is not available.

When contacted by Boyletoday.com, Estate Agent Mike Smith, who has been negotiating the sale of the historic 15 bedroom, 978 sqm building, said he was not in a position to disclose, at this stage, who the purchaser is.

“The Convent is now sale agreed after a private treaty sale. I am not in a position to disclose the purchser or the sale price at this stage due to client confidentiallity”, said Mr Smith.

The Convent has been on the market since October 2017 and has been viewed on daft.ie over 11,200 times.

It comprised of a Chapel with Balcony, Landscaped Gardens, Oil Fired Central Heating, 15 Bedrooms, 4 Reception Rooms, 2 Kitchens, 2 Storey Gardeners Lodge on Site, Pedestrian Street Access and Security Alarms.
