Good news for road users in the Boyle area with details of funding for overlay and re surfacing of regional roads having been announced recently by Roscommon County Council.
Included in this years programme is €168,oo for surface restoration and road reconstruction on the R294 Letsford Park (Carrick Rd) 600m, R370 Mullaghmore -Station Road €245,000 (1000m), R368 Killukin – Rock €84,000 (300m) and R370 Macandille – Knockcornha €21,600 (300m).
There has also been an allocation for surface dressing of roads in the area including L5042 Lowparks – Mocmoyne and L1042 Deerpark – Tawnytaskin.
