Boyle Gardai are investigating the theft of a cattle trailer from a farmyard on Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 3.30pm a white van, similar to a Hi Ace pulled into the yard at Rathallen and the occupants proceeded to steal the trailer.
It is described as a Jim Murphy single axle trailer with wooden floor and aluminium sides.
