Gardai seek information on break-ins

Boyle Gardai are seeking the assistance of the public following a number of break ins locally in the past week.

On Monday night/Tuesday morning €1,200 worth of property was stolen from a house at Newtown, Cootehall.

The theft included two powerwashers, three chainsaws, an electric fence and a solar panel.

An apartment was broken into at Bridge St in Boyle last Saturday night but no theft occured when those who gained entry were disturbed.

Finally, Gardai are following a definite line of enquiry following the theft of €400 worth of furniture from a house at Warren Grove in Boyle.

It is believed that the furniture has since been recovered.
