32 Rose of Tralee contestants sampled Lough Key Forest Park hospitality today when they visited the Boyle facility.

They were welcomed by the Activity Centre manager Louise Fitzpatrick who gave them a brief history of the Park and outlined the afternoon’s activities.

The Rose’s were visibly impressed with the Park and the beautiful scenery as they undertook the Lough Key Experience, Boda Berg, boating on the lake, Segway glides and bike rides.

There was a special welcome for the Sydney Rose, Ciara Rafferty whose mother Joan (nee Flanagan) lived in Rockingham in her youth.

Ciara was joined by her mum Joan, dad Sean and her two aunts and met many relations who live in Boyle including members of the Cooney and Bushell families.

The Roses left Boyle with fond memories and headed back to Lough Rynn Castle in Mohill where they will attend an official Ball tonight.
