Injury time goal deprives Celtic

Boyle Celtic took on Galway League side Corrib Rangers in the fourth round of the Connacht Junior Cup in Galway on Sunday.

Unfortunately ‘Celtic’s run in the competition came to an end on a scoreline of Corrib Rangers 2 – Boyle Celtic 1.

The result sees Manor Rangers now as the only Sligo Leitrim League side remaining in the competition.

Boyle Celtic had to bow out gracefully losing by the odd goal in three.

Boyle Celtic were one nil down for most of the game and equalised in the last minute of normal time only to see the home side score the winner in injury time.
