Junior Health Minister Jim Daly is scheduled to visit Roscommon today Tuesday Februry 27th.
He will firstly call to the new Endoscopy Unit at Roscommon University Hospital where he will meet with staff and management and be given an update on the proposed Rehab Unit.
This evening the Minister is scheduled to visit the Rosalie Unit in Castlerea amid growing concern that the unit will close.
It is understood a deputation from Castlerea will meet with Minister for Health Simon Harris and Minister Jim Daly on March 7th to voice their concern on the unit’s future.
