The death has occured of Mary (Mamie) Lyons nee Philbin, Baranarig, Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry, and “Cuilmore Lodge”, Cootehall, Boyle, and formerly of Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
Mary passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family, at her daughter Ann and son in-law Peter’s residence at “Cuilmore Lodge”.
Mary is predeceased by her husband Sean, and brother and sisters. She will be sadly missed by her loving son Sean, daughters, Bridie, Maureen, Ann, Josie, Noreen and Helen, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, her 14 adored grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her daughter Ann and son-in-law’s residence at “Cuilmore Lodge”, Cootehall, Boyle, (Eircode – F52A062) on Friday evening from 4pm to 9pm. Mass on Saturday at 10.30am at St Michael’s Church, Cootehall, following which Mary’s remains will depart for Kerry.
Reposing at Leahy’s Funeral Home, Knocknagoshel, on Sunday evening from 4.30pm to 7.00pm, followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Knocknagoshel. Requiem Mass for Mary will take place on Monday at 11.00am, followed by burial afterwards in Knockane Cemetery, Knocknagoshel.
