The death has taken place of Tessie Hunt (née Bruen), Antogher Road, Roscommon Town, Knockvicar, Boyle and Swinford, Mayo.
Formerly of Rossport, Co. Mayo and Knockvicar, Boyle.
February 26th, 2016, In her 97th year, (unexpectedly but peacefully) at home.
Beloved wife of the late Seamus and devoted mother of the late Treasa Connolly (Glinsk and San Francisco).
Loving mother of Máirín Murphy (Dublin), Tom (San Francisco), Miceal (Dublin), Caitlín Browne (Roscommon), Séamus (Roscommon) and Cathal (Galway).
She will be greatly missed by her family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Sunday evening from 4 o’c followed by Removal at 6.30 o’c to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11.30 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
