A LGBT Awareness Raising workshop will take place in Boyle on Wednesday June 14th at Boyle Family Resource Centre.
This workshop is aimed at making our community more LGBT aware and friendly through:
– Consider LGBT issues
-Explore the 4 Ps Model for creating an LGBT friendly service
-Pick up LGBT Friendly materials and a list of contacts
-Meet other service providers, community groups and sports clubs
This workshop is a LGBT Friendly Roscommon 2017 initative delivered by Roscommon Children and Young People’s Committee and Boyle Family Resource Centre.
Each organisation, sports club or business that completes this training will get a special sticker to place in their window to show they are LGBT friendly/aware.
