Lough Key Forest Park in awards final

Boyle’s Lough Key Forest and Activity Park has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Irish Hospitality Awards 2019.

It comes less than seven weeks after the facility won ‘Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands Best Tourism Experience’ at the Irish Tourism Industry Awards.

The Forest and Activity Park has been shortlisted in the ‘Tourist Attraction of the Year’ section and will have strong competition from the other finalists – The Irish Rock ‘n’ Roll Museum Experience, Malahide Castle and Gardens, The National Wax Museum Plus, Irish Museum of Modern Art, The Jeanie Johnston, Brú na Bóinne, Glenveagh National Park, Natural History Museum and Bunratty Castle & Folk Park.

The Arigna Mining Experience is also a finalist in the ‘Best Day Out’ section of the awards.

The Irish Hospitality Awards celebrate those who provide residents and visitors with great experience and enhance the hospitality industry in Ireland.

The ceremony will be held at The Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport, on Monday, March 25, where top contenders will gather together to find out the lucky winners.
