Lough Key Spookey Halloween Fest will take place from October 24th to November 1st 2015.
- The Visitor centre will be themed and decorated in Halloween spooky scenes!
- The Lakeside café will be offering some festive homemade ghoulish delights
- Visitors of all ages! We encourage you to enter into the spirit of Halloween and dress up in Costume throughout the Halloween fest. Spot Prizes will be given out ad lib when we see a costume that impresses!!
- Colouring Competition throughout the week & all pictures will be displayed
SUNDAY 25TH OCTOBER
- 2 – 4pm: Face Painting – FREE
Halloween Craft Classes‘
Pre-booking is required as places are limited.
As part of each class the participants will take home their creation. (Suitable for 4yrs to 8 yrs)
- 11am-12 noon: Craft Class (€7 per child )
- 30pm-3.30pm: Pumpkin Carving Class – (€10 Per child (you can take pumpkin home)
- 4pm-5pm: Craft Class (€7 per child)
MONDAY 26TH OCTOBER
- 2 – 4pm: Pumpkin Carving Demonstrations & Face Painting – FREE
‘Witch & Monster Nature Hunt through Lough Key’
- Anytime between 12noon & 4pm. Allow yourself one hour to complete the hunt.
(€10.00 per team- Max 6 per team must be at least one supervising adult, Outdoor event so dress appropriately)
FRIDAY 30TH OCTOBER
‘Pumpkin Carving Class’
Pre-booking is required as places are limited
- 11am & 2.30pm – (€10 Per child and you can take pumpkin home)
Witch & Monster Treasure Hunt through Lough Key’
- Anytime between 12noon & 4pm. Allow yourself one hour to complete the hunt.
(€10.00 per team- Max 6 per team must be at least one supervising adult, Outdoor event so dress appropriately)
SATURDAY 31ST OCTOBER
‘It’s Halloween’ – Party games, Dancing & Fun’
- Come in costume & get into the spirit of Halloween before it is ‘trick or treat time’ and enjoy some Spooky Fun with games, dancing & surprises. All the little spooks will get a Goodie Bag to take home!
Pre-booking is required as places are limited
Halloween Games will last an hour and the creepy fun will be at 11am, 12.30, 2.30pm
