The official opening of “For the Record” took place today saturday in King House.
Well known musician Matt Molloy did the honours.
Matt’s father had a daring escape from the Boyle Military Barracks in 1921.
Speakers at the event included Barry Feely, Paraic Brennan and Matt Molloy.
Matt performed a tune with students from Abbey Community College before a solo rendition of “Eastersnow”.
The exhibition runs each day in King House until Saturday 2nd April
