Great work has been undertaken in recent months by Cootehall Community Development Group to transform “The Barrack’s” the home of John McGahern into a memorial museum.
A major step in the process took place in the picturesque North Roscommon village on Tuesday 3rd December at 11 a.m.when Minister of State at the Department of Finance Brian Hayes officially handed back the Barracks to the community.
