Customers of 3 Ireland will face disruption in the Boyle area this week as the company progress plans for a site upgrade.

Mobile phone and broadband customers in Deerpark, Abbeytown, Carrick Road and the N61 and R294 areas will be affected.

Minor intermittent interruptions to service will be experienced from Monday 13th to Thursday 16th March.

The company say the site upgrade will result in better voice and data coverage using superfast 4G for 3 Ireland customers in the Boyle area.

The upgrade is part of a €300m investment by the company to bring better coverage and speeds nationwide over the coming months.
