There will be no rail service from Boyle or indeed any other part of Ireland this Sunday or Monday.
Irish Rail have stated that none of their Intercity services will run on either day as a result of the strike action by SIPTU and NBRU members.
The unions are planning four days of strike action over the next month in a dispute over pay cuts.
Irish Rail claims the pay cuts are necessary for the future survival of the company.
