The weather held dry in ideal conditions for The Cian Smith Testimonial game which was played in the Abbey Park Saturday afternoon.

A Roscommon Minor (2006) selection took on a Boyle selection with a final result of 3-13 each after a great Boyle comeback.

€10,500 was raised for the Mayo Roscommon Hospice and the Kyle Casey Fund in what was an enjoyable yet emotive day.

Boyle came from behind with 2 late goals- one from a penalty and the other from play and a pointed free from long distance (all 3 scores taken by –guess who ?–Cian himself)

Pat Casey from Ballinameen referred the match while the Ballinameen club provided the linesmen.

Following the game, refreshments were served in the club house with the after match analysis taking place in the Moylurg Inn.
