Replay fixed for bank holiday Monday

Roscommon and Mayo will go to battle again, this time on Bank Holiday Monday August 7th in Croke Park.

No time has been announced Sunday evening for the replay.

A brilliant long range point from Boyle man Donie Smith saw the Rossies draw with their neighbours in a nail biting quarter final on Sunday.

Roscommon Manager Kevin McStay said: ““It‘s Monday here in Croke Park.  That’s what we want. It can’t be anywhere else. People are dreaming up Salthill and stuff, but we’ve no helicopters or airport in Roscommon to fly into Galway. It has to be here, this is where the All-Ireland quarter finals are held.”
