Boyle is among five towns in the county that will benefit from a new iniative that is to be introduced by Roscommon Co Co.
“Revitalisation Teams” will be established in Boyle, Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon, Castlerea and Monksland.
The aim of the teams is to promote and revitalise the towns with the assistance of community, voluntary and business groups.
It is proposed to draw up an agreed plan of priorities to promote and develop each town.
