Road closure extended in Boyle

Roscommon County Council hereby gives notice that a decision has been made to extend the period of the Road Closure of the under mentioned road for a further period of four (4) weeks to Friday, 25th July 2014 to facilitate the laying of water mains as part of the Boyle/Ardcarne Regional Water Supply Scheme.

Junction off the N4 (node point 120) L-5063-0, to the junction at Loughkeel, (node point 125).

Diversion:  Take the L-1019-23 road to the left off the N4 heading for Carrick-on-Shannon. Continue on this road for approximately 800m until it links up with the L-5063-0. Turn right. Emergency and Local access will be maintained. All necessary approach signage and diversion signage will be used at the required locations as per Traffic Management Plan.

Residents will be contacted directly by the Contractor  advising them of the continued  closure.
