Roscommon company on Toy Show
A Roscommon company are already seeing an increase in enquiries following the appearance of their product on RTE’s Late Late Toy Show.
The Field, a farm toy set was trialled by young Darragh Malone on Friday night .
The Field is the brainchild of Padraic Cuddy from Castlecoote in Co Roscommon. The idea for The Field happened last year, when Padraic decided to get some of his artificial grass and knock a basic timber and grass base structure together for his son Tommy, so that he had a play area for his toy cattle and machinery.
Tommy loved his new piece of land and spent a lot of time sitting in it playing with his animals and tractors. The 3 year old was addicted and very soon after so we’re his twin friends Harry and Patrick Gordon. They visited Tommy regularly and really enjoyed playing with Tommy’s new model farm toy field.
The twins quickly wrote to Santa Claus and asked him was there any way that Santa could organise that he might include some fields in his sack for them on Christmas Day. This duly happened and a new idea was born for Class Grass Ltd.
