Solstice Choir to perform tonight

St.Joseph’s Church Boyle will be the venue for a concert performed by Co. Roscommon’s Solstice Choir on Friday evening the 24th June at 8.30pm

This is a return visit from this well loved and acclaimed choir and it promises to be a very enjoyable evening of music.

The proceeds for the night will be shared by two Boyle- based charities namely the CHURCH OF IRELAND building restoration fund and “TOUCH” Shannonside group which is established in this area for ten years now.

“TOUCH” is a third-world child focused charity which has funded construction projects such as schools, nutrition centres, houses for destitute unpaid teachers in the bush, hospital wings and farm development projects.

Child- sponsorship programmes and aid-filled containers also form part of the work of this small group of volunteers.

This mighty work continued through the recession years and continues to this day  thanks to the generosity of many many people from this general area.

We urge you to come and support this concert on the 24th and make this a night to remember.

Tickets priced €10 and are available from:

Martina Morris 085-7753066
Pearl Anderson 071-9662326
Boyle Motor Works
Cooney Motors or at the door on the night
