The newly crowned Boyle U12 division one county champions paid a special visit to Drumderrig Nursing Home on Thursday evening to visit former Boyle coach and GAA supremo Sean Young.
In a thoughtful gesture, members of the team and management brought the county shield to the nursing home to show to a man who is held in such high regard by both present and past Boyle clubmen.
The players were accompanied by Noel Casey and Jim McGrath.
Boyle beat Roscommon Gaels on a scoreline of 4-10 to 0-2 to win the final.
