Boyle Arts Festival

Successful Arts Week draws to a close

Boyle Arts Festival drew to a close on Sunday evening July 30th with Boyle native Pete Higgins entertaining the crowds in Patrick’s Well.

Speaking to Boyletoday.com as the festival concluded, Chairman of the organising committee Gerry Kielty said initial indications were that the 2017 festival has been the most successful to date.

Gerry paid tribute to the hard working committee and friends of the festival who were on hand every day to ensure the events ran smoothly.

He was also high in praise for the local people and the many visitors for their attendance over the ten days.

The Chairman also noted that the festival could not have taken place without the generous sponsorship of local and national companies and individuals to whom both himself and the committee are very grateful.

A full list of acknowledgements will issue in due course.

Below is a pictorial round up of the weekend activities courtesy of Boyle photographer Benny Morgan who was on hand to capture nearly every event over the ten days.
