Suicide Alertness evening in Boyle

Boyle Family Resource Centre are hosting safeTALK ‘suicide alertness for everyone’ on Monday 29th of May 7pm-10pm.

The aim of this evening is to increase the ability to promote the immediate safety of someone who may be at risk of suicide and provide links to further help.

This training is suitable for everyone who wants to help prevent suicide and is prepared to become a suicide alert helper.
safeTALK suicide alert helpers are trained to:
• Move beyond common tendencies to miss, dismiss or avoid suicide
• Identify people who have thoughts of suicide
• Apply the TALK steps to connect a person with suicidal thoughts to people and agencies that can help.

Booking is essential and booking forms are available from the Centre. Places must be booked before May 19th. This course is FREE.

Boyle FRC supports you, your family & our community, we are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm(closed 1pm to 2pm)
